Family Pharmacy offers FREE seminars on customized hormones.  Attend our seminars to learn the essentials of hormone balance and how to improve your quality of life!  The following will be discussed in the seminars:

1. The difference between synthetic and customized hormones
2. Discussion of hormonal imbalances, in regards to estrogens, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol (stress hormone) and thyroid
3. How to test your hormone levels
4. Discover your options that are available when it comes to correcting hormonal deficiencies and imbalances

Our seminar is open to both women and men, yet focuses on women in peri-menopause/menopause. Participants have the opportunity to view "The Seventh Woman, An Introduction to Changing Your Life Through Understanding Your Hormones" and the lecture is followed by a question and answer period.

We offer a variety of in-store and at-home test kits to meet your needs.

Screenings available include:

  • Blood pressure monitoring, either by machine or trained personnel (In Family HealthCare Supply)
  • Cholesterol screening by fingerstick
    • Results while you wait
    • Full lipid profile (fasting required) 
  • Comprehensive cholesterol profile, which will measure the size and number of cholesterol particles in the body 
  • Hair analysis kit for metals and minerals
  • Hemoglobin A1C test kit
  • Hormone saliva testing and blood spot testing
    • ZRT Laboratory kits in stock 
      (assays available for female and male hormones, thyroid hormones, adrenal function testing, single and multiple hormone testing available)
  • Osteoporosis screening (in Family Healthcare Supply)
    (ultrasound screening of heel for bone mineral density results while you wait, report provided for physician follow-up)
  • Vitamin Testing
    • Spectracell kits in stock - will test the levels of 29 vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids
